Pinterest Video Download Not Working? Here's How to Fix It

If a Pinterest video pin won't download, it's almost always one of a few specific issues.

Check that it's a direct pin link

The URL should contain /pin/ — board and profile links aren't supported.

Make sure the pin is public

Private or login-gated pins can't be processed, since we never bypass Pinterest's access controls.

Confirm it's actually a video

Some pins that appear to auto-play in your feed are GIFs or images with an overlay, not true video pins.
